North Pole Experience
Polar Express Train - Flagstaff, Arizona
Recommended by: Will Farrell
We got to ride on the Candy Cane Express through a forest with zillions of lights shaped like all sorts of cool Christmas stuff. When we got to Santa's workshop, it was really neat because we were even able to look inside Santa's sleigh and see the time travelling portal that Santa uses to get all over the world in one night!
Unbeknownst to most people, Santa Claus has magic toy workshops scattered in an assortment of locations all over the world and Flagstaff, Arizona is one of his most top secret locations! The North Pole Experience is a magical journey that allows children to board a magical trolley that takes them through an enchanted forest filled with thousands of brightly twinkling Christmas lights to Santa's toy workshop where they will be able to see and learn all about Santa's magical world.
When children arrive at the launching dock with their ticket, they are in for more than just a simple trolley ride. With their tickets, children will be able to tour Santa's Toy Hall of Fame, visit Santa's elves inside the workshop and create their own special toy, visit Santa's bakery for snowman soup and cookies, take a class at the Elf University, explore Santa's Sleigh Hanger, Toy Factory and Design Laboratory, have story-time with Mrs. Claus and a special one-on-one family time with Santa including photos! The experience is so authentic that young and old alike will be mesmerized by the magic of this holiday journey!
Since Little America Hotel is the trolley launch for the ride to the workshop, Santa has coordinated with the hotel to provide special rates for families who wish to hold on to the magic for a bit longer by allowing them a special promotional rate for the evening. When preparing to board the trolley, arrive at least half an hour early to ensure plenty of time for check-in prior to departure.
