Chocolate! Chocolate! Chocolate! If you love chocolate you will definitely want to come here! It is neat to watch them make the chocolate, but even better to get to sample it at the end of the tour! Yummy!
Chocoholics will be drooling over Cerreta's scrumptious candies during this interesting and educational chocolate factory tour. See the process of making these popular candies from start to finish and feel free to take a sample or two along the way! The Cerreta chocolate factory definitely knows how to keep their customers happy!
Each factory tour lasts approximately thirty minutes, and run between 10am and 1pm Monday through Friday. As kids watch the creams, chocolates and caramels melts and mold together into their favorite treats, they will learn about how it all comes together from production to presentation. While the store doesn't actively provide an educational program, this tour would be a great supplement to math curriculums if teachers or homeschooling parents wanted to schedule a field trip.
For an added fee at the end, kids have the opportunity to build their own chocolate Italian pizza creation or groups can simply browse the shop and take home their favorites.
