Nicholas' Review:
The bumper boats are my favorite ride! The best part was being able to slam into my little brother's boat and get him all wet! It was great payback for all the times he has driven me crazy.

Melissa's Notes:
For the most family fun and amusement in the Phoenix area, Enchanted Island is the place to be. Formerly known as Kiddieland Amusement Park, the Encanto Park attraction has been a favorite family activity for more than fifty years! The park is perfect for any special occasion and is appropriate for anything from family outings to corporate picnics to weddings. Full of magic and sparkling with charm, you will not find a more unique and appealing place to visit in all of the Phoenix area.

Situated in the heart of beautiful Encanto Park in central Phoenix, Enchanted Island is a delightful little theme park that is sure to appeal to kids ages 1-10. With nine rides designed for the under 48 inch crowd, parents must remember to bring the camera to capture the looks of delight as the kids whirl around on bumper boats, spin on the carousel, race along the dragon wagon roller coaster and more. For rides the whole family can share, head on over to the lake and check out the pedal boat or canoe rentals, then spend some time floating peacefully across the water. It is important to note that each ride requires 2-3 tickets for admission, so purchasing books of tickets or daily wristbands will most likely be more cost effective than purchasing tickets individually.

In addition to the kid's rides at Enchanted Island, families can also visit the midway area to play any number of fun games and, better still, every game always result in a prize, so everyone is a winner! Enchanted Island also has a fabulous onsite snack bar which serves a range of delicious snacks and drinks to refresh you as you play all day. For a more hearty meal, head over to Mulligan's Restaurant located near the golf course for a delicious burger meal.

Jacob Tip:   If you are visiting during the summer make sure you wear a swimsuit because the park has an area called Splash Zone where you can play in the water fountains and figurines! It is a great way to cool off and have fun!
