Sticky Fingers Cooking Classes
Family Cooking Camps and Classes around Denver!
I really like helping my Mom and Dad cook. They decided to try out a family cooking school at this place called Sticky Fingers Cooking. It was so much fun! I got to learn how to cook like a real Chef. It was fun going with my parents because they learned a lot too. I hope we do this every summer!
We were looking for an avenue to transform cooking with our kids from a frustrating chore to a fun activity. My sister—a mother of four—recommended the Sticky Fingers Cooking. This family cooking school really knows how to help a parent instill a love for great food without going insane with giant messes in the kitchen.
Sticky Fingers Cooking offers summer day classes for kids out of school, but also runs classes throughout the year at various times. You’re sure to find a time slot that fits your schedule. Children as young as age two can come to the classes, where they’ll be able to whisk to their heart’s content. It is a proven fact that when kids are involved in preparing food, they’re much more likely to eat it—even those troublesome leafy greens they dislike.
This family cooking school earned a feature spot in Better Homes & Gardens, as well as 5280 Magazine. It’s a local favorite, and many families plan a vacation just to catch a class. For the past couple of years Sticky Fingers Cooking has partnered with the Colorado Avalanche to give kids a chance to cook a nutritious and seasonal snack. This is a great yearly event to catch if you’re in town. You can find exact dates and times via the school’s website.
Sticky Fingers Cooking offers an array of classes specifically for children who attend a number of local schools. They have superb afterschool programs designed to enrich a child’s interest in cooking. Field trips and private classes are also available. Group packages can be purchased. When scheduling a private class, be sure to ask about tailoring. The school will tailor the class to fit you needs!

|Jacob Tip: Harriet Van Horne once said, “Cooking is like love. It should be entered into with abandon or not at all.” What better way to jump into cooking with abandonment than in someone else’s kitchen! Family cooking schools are great places to learn to cook without worrying about the mess.|
