Bryan Gooding Planetarium
Planitarium and Laser Light Show!
Recommended by: Constance Shriver
Man, this has got to be the AWESOMEST place on earth! My favorite show was "Astronaut." See, they had a "test" astronaut. His name was Chad. I don't think he was real, but he sure seemed real! It was like we were actually inside his body, and we got to see the whole space flight, launch and all, like he would see it. Now how cool is that?
My second favorite show was "Sea Monsters: A Prehistoric Adventure." They say these sea monsters lived 82 million years ago! I'm glad I didn't live then! I would have been scared to death!"
We wanted the kids' vacation to be both educational and fun. The planetarium was the perfect choice! Dad and I especially liked the show "Skies Over Jacksonville." Besides being a great learning experience, it was a bit romantic too! It reminded us of long ago when we spent the nights stargazing! The entire family really enjoyed the "Cosmic Concert." We took in the "Cosmic Country" show. I've been to live concerts, but nothing could compare to the laser lights and digital sound system in the planetarium!
They even offer educational tours for schools. Jacob said he'd pester his teacher into taking his class on a field trip to the planetarium next semester!

|Jacob Tip: I hope they need astronauts when I grow up because that's what I want to be! Chad made it look really fun to be an astronaut! But if you want to be an astronaut, be sure you don't mind being dizzy! And don't be afraid to eat the food astronauts eat. Hey, anything's better than school lunch!|
