   There are a number of neat restaurants on the lake. Parks do not allow glass containers or firewood gathering. Explore some of the smaller parks!

1 Pace Bend: 1368 acres. Camp sites, primitive camping, RV sites, water, electric, BBQ Grills, fire rings, boat ramps, fishing, swimming, hike/bike trails, waterless restrooms. You can see deer, raccoon, fox, ringtail cat, and dozens of different birds. Pace Bend website

2 Dink Pearson Bend: 195 acres. Boat ramp, picnic tables, BBQ grills, primitive camping only, no water, hike/bike trails, restrooms.

4 Sandy Creek: 25 acres. Boat ramp, fishing, picnic tables, BBQ grills, primitive camping only, water, hiking, and waterless restrooms. Sandy Creek website

5 Cypress Creek: 15 acres. Boat ramp, fishing, swimming, BBQ grills, picnic tables, waterless restrooms, no water. Cypress website

6 Mansfield Dam Park: 65 acres. Boat ramp, picnic tables, grills, swim area, concessions, restrooms, SCUBA park, hike/bike trail, swim platform, playground, horseshoes, chess tables. Dam website

7 Hippy Hollow: 109 acres. Clothing optional - (no minors). Concession stand, swimming area, hiking trails, restrooms, water. Hippie hollow website

8 Shore Club Volente Beach: This beach club features a water park with slides, sandy beach, pools for children and an adult only pool with a swim up bar. They also have volleyball courts. You can also rent watercrafts there. There is a restaurant on site or you can bring your own cooler with a picnic but keep in mind that alcohol, glass and uncooked foods are not allowed. Drive Directions:   From Killeen: 190 to 35South to Round Rock, right onto 620 (Exit #252B). Continue on 620 12 miles. Turn right onto 2769 then using the map - depending what park you want!
