Jacob's Review:
The park has bridges and docks that would be good fishing because you can see fish in the river. Next to the river is a bike trail so bring your bike and then you can ride it and see the waterfalls and you can go on the bridges too.
There is a neat coffee shop with good hot chocolate, and you can play chest (Chess) there too! The downtown is kinda small but it looks really old and it has neat buildings.

Dad's Notes:
The W.M. Brook Park, along Sulphur Creek River has cement trails right along the river, changing to a nice long graveled fitness trail, with fitness stations. Recommend bikes or running, as the rollerblading is more limited. The shaded park has picnic tables, an outdoor 'theatre' area and playground. Concerts and plays held outdoors in the spring and summer.

Across the way is Hancock Park with more playground equipment and a swimming pool. The original town was founded around the spring, which was originally an Indian healing place. Hancock park also has an 18 hole golf course.

The downtown area is very historic with cafes, coffee shops and restaurants, a museum and old historic Courthouse. Free maps of the historical driving tour are available at the museum, at the W. M. Brook Park and at the chamber of commerce. The historical tour will take you by some 30 homes, most of which are over 100 years old! The museum is located on Western between 2nd and 3rd downtown, and is open Saturday's 10 - 2.
