Jacob's Review:
The funeral museum was kind of neat, but also kind of creepy. I learned a lot about funerals and stuff, a lot of stuff people don't tell you about coz' it isn't something people talk about all that much. It was really interesting!

Dad's Notes:
The National Funeral Museum is extremely informative and is actually the largest museum dedicated to death care in the United States. While it is really, really interesting, you might want to consider both how old your children are and how well they will take to learning about death before you take them to the museum. If they are interested and find the subject matter fascinating, there are loads of neat exhibits, including one about the lives and deaths of the popes and the tomb of the Unknown Soldier.

The National Funeral Museum has many, many interesting exhibits, though. There is an exhibit concerning the burial of presidents, one focused on the Day of the Dead, coffins, caskets, and Japanese style funerals. They have an annual golf classic that takes place in May of each year and also periodically host special events that benefit the community.
