Jacob's Review:
Visiting the Fort Worth Botanical Gardens was really fun. At these gardens, you get to walk around outside and look at flowers and cool waterfalls. By some of the ponds there were some sculptures that I took pictures of, like a sculpture of a frog jumping in the water. In the conservatory, you can feed Koi fish which are like giant goldfish. That is really fun because they come right up to the top of the water for the food.

Dad's Notes:
We visited the Fort Worth Botanical Gardens with my sister's family this year. We all had a great time walking through the different types of gardens and looking at the flowers and other plants. The Fort Worth Botanical Gardens is appropriate for all ages and is great when you are looking for a low-cost activity in the Fort Worth area.

A peaceful place to visit, and you almost forget you are in the middle of a major city when you are strolling through the grounds of the gardens. The conservatory and Japanese gardens have additional fees, but are worth the cost. Many people choose to celebrate events at the Fort Worth Botanical Gardens because of the beautiful scenery and peaceful atmosphere.

Jacob Tip:   Take food with you when you visit the Fort Worth Botanical Gardens, so you can have a picnic outside. The best spots for a picnic here are by some of the waterfalls. Also, make sure you go to the conservatory so you can feed the Koi and take pictures of them.
